To help us fix a problem quickly, include:
- your PagAlyzer version (shown at the top of the panel),
- your browser and its version (for example Chrome, Edge or Arc),
- the URL of the page you scanned, if it's public,
- what you expected to see, and what PagAlyzer showed,
- a screenshot or a JSON export of the scan, if you can.
Common fixes
PagAlyzer doesn't scan the page.
Reload the tab and click Re-scan. Browsers don't let extensions read some pages, such as chrome:// pages, the Chrome Web Store and other extensions' pages, so PagAlyzer can't scan those.
A link shows as broken, but it opens fine for me. Links are checked without your cookies, so pages that need a login can fail. Turn on Check links with my login and scan again. Some sites also block automated requests or limit how many you can make. Open the link to confirm.
Some links show as Skipped. PagAlyzer never requests sign-out and unsubscribe links, so a scan can't log you out or change a subscription.
The results include the menu and footer. Click Select area and pick the part of the page you care about, such as the article. PagAlyzer remembers your choice for that site.
A scan takes a long time. Pages with many links take longer, because each link is checked. Click Stop at any time; the results so far stay on screen.
I use Arc or another browser without a side panel. PagAlyzer opens as a drawer inside the page instead. Right-click the toolbar icon to switch between the side panel and the drawer.
