PagAlyzer privacy policy
Last updated: 1 October 2026
PagAlyzer is a browser extension by BeastWeb. It does not collect, send or sell any data. Everything it does happens inside your browser.
What it accesses
- The page you scan: it reads that page's links, headings, structure and metadata to show the analysis. It reads a page only when you start a scan or open the drawer.
- The links on that page: to check whether each link works, it requests the linked URLs and the site's robots.txt, directly from your browser. These requests go to the sites the page links to, never to us.
- Your settings: the selected area per site, the drawer width, the panel mode and the "check links with my login" option are saved in your browser's local storage.
Cookies and sign-out links
- Links are checked without your cookies, unless you turn on "Check links with my login".
- Sign-out and unsubscribe links are never requested, so a scan can't log you out or change a subscription.
What it doesn't do
- It sends nothing to us or to anyone else, and has no analytics or tracking. It has no accounts and no servers.
- It doesn't store the pages you scan or their results. Exports are files you save yourself.
- It loads no remote code.
- Nothing is sold or shared. PagAlyzer's use of data complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
